ALPENGLOW HOME CO.
The goal of this project was to create a website using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. I chose to focus on building a seamless e-commerce experience. During the process, I also developed a cohesive brand identity for the company, deciding to position it as an eco-conscious, modern lifestyle brand that combines rustic charm with contemporary design. The project aimed to not only showcase products but also create a visually engaging, user-friendly online shopping platform.

PROCESS

The design process began with sketching wireframes and mapping out the customer journey — prioritizing warmth, ease, and story-driven flow. I started with a simple template and gradually transformed it through custom styling, soft rounded elements, and a gentle, earth-toned color palette inspired by the natural materials featured in the products. Fonts were carefully selected to feel clean yet nostalgic, reinforcing the brand’s quiet, mountain-inspired identity.

Key features include sticky navigation, custom product filters, and a dynamic homepage banner leading to the Spring ’25 collection. The layout is minimal but with thoughtful use of imagery and white space to let the products speak for themselves. From the Lookbook to the Materials page, every detail is designed to reflect the brand’s commitment to sustainability, storytelling, and slow living.

BRAND DEVELOPMENT FOR WEBSITE CREATION

HORIZONTAL WORDMARK

STACKED WORDMARK
Alpenglow Home Co. is a household linens brand inspired by mountain light and everyday softness. The products are made from natural and vintage materials, they are pieces that bring warmth, texture, and intention to everyday spaces. The brand celebrates the mismatched and the eclectic — the layered charm of a home that feels collected over time, like grandma’s house, where nothing quite matches but everything belongs.

For the logo I decided to use BROGETTA REGULAR to capture that timeless charm with a modern nod that felt elegant without feeling too minimal.

The color palette — mossy green, warm amber, white, and black — draws from the natural tones of mountain life.

It reflects the quiet richness of forest floors, golden hour light, and the timeless contrast found in heirloom homes. Earthy, warm, and grounding — just like the spaces the brand hopes to inspire.

FIRST SKETCHES

WIRE FRAMES - ILLUSTRATOR
The website design process began with hand-drawn sketches to explore layout, flow, and content placement. Starting on paper helped me think intuitively and focus on structure before getting into the details.

From there, I recreated the wireframes in Illustrator to refine spacing, typography, and hierarchy. This step allowed me to visualize the site more clearly and establish a strong design foundation before moving into development.
